COVID-19 cases cross 33.9 mln in America

WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 33,919,050 in the United States of America after 17,191 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,754,708 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 27,559,957 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 604,385 with 290 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,486,667 and infected 167,968,155 globally until the filing of this news.
