COVID-19: India records new 195,815 cases, 3,498 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 195,815 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 26,947,496.

Currently, 2,592,487 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 24,047,760 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 307,200-mark.

With 3,498 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 307,249, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,486,667 and infected 167,968,155 globally until the filing of this news.
