CPN-UML’s Standing Committee meeting begins in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: An emergency meeting of the Standing Committee of the ruling CPN-UML has begun at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

Earlier, the party was supposed to hold a meeting of the General Convention Organizing Committee .

However, the emergency meeting of the party’s Standing Committee is being held prior to the meeting of the General Convention Committee, a UML leader close to Prime Minister KP Oli said.

According to the leader, the meeting of the General Convention Organizing Committee will start only after the meeting of the Standing Committee.
