JHAPA: A woman has died in a road accident in Birtamode on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Susana Rai,27, of Arjundhara municipality-7.
Rai was pillion riding a motorcycle, Me. 10 Pa. 5520, that met with an accident at Ram chowk in Birtamode municipality-2, heading towards the east from the west, according to the District Traffic Police Office, Jhapa.
Seriously injured Rai died during in course of treatment at the local hospital. Suman Thapa,30, the motorcycle rider, escaped unhurt and he has been taken into police custody for investigation into the incident.
