NC to convene CWC meeting tomorrow



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is convening its Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting on Monday afternoon.

The meeting to be held at the party central office, Sanepa, would discuss the matters related to contemporary political development and the 14th general convention of the party, according to NC central office chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.

NC has made public a calendar to hold its 14th general convention in Kathmandu on coming August 23-26. As per the calendar, NC’s village/town ward convention would be held on July 4, rural municipality convention on July 6, and province assembly constituency convention on July 9.

Likewise, the convention of the district having only one House of Representative constituency would be held on July 11 while it would take place on July 14 in the district with more than one electoral constituency.

The province convention is scheduled to be held on July 21.
