India terms reinstatement of Parliament as Nepal’s internal matter



KATHMANDU: India has termed the decision of the Supreme Court (SC) to reinstate the House of Representatives as an internal matter of Nepal.

Spokesperson at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, Anurag Srivastava said so during a regular press conference when asked by a journalist on India’s response to the decision.

“We have been closely following political developments in Nepal over the last few months. As we have stated earlier, we believe these are internal matters for Nepal to decide as per its democratic institution and process,” said Srivastava
