Technical school will be run at every local level: CM Poudel

HETAUDA: Chief Minister of Bagmati province, Dormani Poudel, has said that at least one technical school would be operated at every local level.

Laying the foundation stone for the reconstruction of the 21-room building of Mahendra Secondary School, Padam Pokhari, in Hetauda, Chief Minister Poudel expressed the view that schools would be developed as the place of producing capable human resources if the education producing human resources capable to compete in the labor market is emphasized.

He stressed that school should impart skill along with knowledge, adding that technical education should be diversified.

CM Poudel shared that priority should be given to education depending on location rather than teaching the same subject everywhere in the name of technical education.

He further said that the provincial government would support the school giving emphasis on technical education.

An agreement has been signed to reconstruct the building at a cost of Rs 53.5 million within August 5, 2022.
