Kathmandu Valley witnesses 154 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 154 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 133 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 8 in Bhaktapur, and 13 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 339 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,64,538 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 3,240 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 401 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,64,538 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 10 persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 2,011.
