NCP Oli faction forms 1,111-member committee for mass assembly



KATHMANDU: The KP Oli faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has formed a 1,111-member committee under the chairmanship of Krishna Gopal Shrestha for the mass assembly to be organized on February 5.

It was informed at a press conference held in the capital on Monday about the mass gathering to be organized by the Bagmati Province Organization Committee.

According to Ananda Prasad Pokharel, chairperson of the Mass Assembly Bagmati Province Committee, the cadres will be mobilized under the leadership of leaders and cadres from 17 districts including 13 districts under Bagmati Province and 4 districts in the Valley Special Province.

He said that the secretariat of the mass meeting mobilization program will be at Bal Kumari Lalitpur, the office of the Bagmati Province Organization Committee.

A 25-member secretariat has been formed under the chairmanship of Pokharel. It is mentioned that all necessary arrangements will be made to hold the mass assembly on February 5.

Health volunteers, as well as special mobile health teams and medicines, will be provided in the mass meeting.

Various cultural programs will be held on the platform from 11 am before the start of the mass meeting.
