Nepal sees 260 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu valley sees 151 cases in 24 hours



KATHMANDU: The country recorded a total of 260 new cases of coronavirus while 349 infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

Of the confirmed cases, 237 were detected through the RT-PCR method and 23 from the antigen method.

Likewise, there are 106 cases in Kathmandu, 10 in Bhaktapur and 35 in Lalitpur, taking the total cases in the valley to 151 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there was one coronavirus-related death in the past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 death toll has reached 11,582 in the country.

There are 5,048 active cases of coronavirus in Nepal as of Friday.
