Former NSC Vice President Tendi Sherpa passes away

KATHMANDU: Former Vice President of Nepal Sports Council (NSC) Lama Tendi Sherpa has passed away.

Sherpa, who had been suffering from neurological disorders for a long time, passed away in the course of treatment at Bishalnagar-based Arogin Care Home. He was 50.

Final rites for Sherpa will be performed at Sherpa Gumpa in Bouddha today itself, informed his family sources.

Sherpa had been the president of Nepal Basketball Association and former General Secretary of Nepal Olympic Committee.
