MoHP: 348 COVID patients undergoing treatment in ICUs, ventilators

KATHMANDU: As many as 348 Coronavirus infected people are currently undergoing treatment in various ICUs and ventilators across the country.

The Ministry of Health and Population said that a total of 348 people are being treated in the ICU and ventilators across the country.

Some 268 coronavirus infected people are receiving treatment in ICU while 80 are being treated on ventilators.

In Province 1, as many as 39 COVID-19 patients are being treated in ICU and 23 in ventilators in Province 1.

Similarly, two people are being treated in ICU in Province 2, whereas 146 are in the ICUs and 48 in the ventilators of Bagmati province.

Likewise, 38 people are in ICU and two in ventilators of Gandaki province.

The Ministry informed that 36 people are undergoing treatment in ICU and four in ventilator in Lumbini.

Karnali province has one person is undergoing treatment in the ICU, while Sudur-paschim Province has got six in ICU and three in ventilators.
