UML CC meeting: Chair Oli presents political report prepared for legislative general convention



KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the CPN-UML KP Oli has presented a political report prepared for legislative general convention of the party in the Central Committee (CC) meeting underway at at Tulsi Lal Memorial Building at Chyasal, Lalitpur, Friday afternoon.

The Statute General Convention of the UML is scheduled for October 1-3.

Organizational report and draft of statute amendment was set to be presented and discussed in the CC meeting.

On the occasion, Chair Oli said that the report was brought along with suggestions of the Standing Committee and management of statute convention should be taken ahead simultaneously.

He opined, “Legislative general convention should be conducted in a systematic, united and dignified manner. We have internal problems as well as national political problems. Discussion should be held on these matters. It is necessary to engage in preparation of party’s 10th national general convention scheduled in the last week of November as well as local level election.”
