Nepal records 2,525 new COVID-19 cases, 35 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,525 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the 9,909 people who underwent tests through the RT-PCR method, 2,020 persons tested positive for COVID-19 while of the 4,901 Antigen tests, 505 tested positive.

According to the Ministry, 35 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 2,086 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.

Similarly, there were 689 new cases in Kathmandu Valley in the past 24 hours: Kathmandu 518 cases, Lalitpur 119, and Bhaktapur 52 cases.
