NCP General Secretary Biplov holds discussion with UML leader Thapa



KATHMANDU: General Secretary of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplov’ has held discussions with former Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ at the latter’s residence Saturday evening.

NCP Spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma ‘Prakanda’ accompanied the general secretary in meeting with the ex-Maoist leader defecting to the UML.

Earlier Saturday afternoon, Biplov met Janata Samajbadi Party Chairman Mahantha Thakur at Thakur’s residence.

After joining mainstream politics, Chand has been holding discussion with leaders of various political parties. Earlier, he called on Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, ex-Maoist leaders who joined the UML, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, among others.
