UML leader Pokharel urges Youth Force to align with people’s mandate

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel has urged party cadres not to undertake activities against people’s mandate.

Addressing a UML gathering held to announce Youth Force Kathmandu Valley committee in Babar Mahal, Kathmandu, Saturday, he said the youths should protest actions that are against the people’s mandate. “We believe in the supremacy of the constitution and abidance to the rule of law. If anyone flouts the rule of law and disregards popular will, then the Youth Force should be active,” Pokharel said.

He suggested that Youth Force ought to be linked with the production of goods and services in the society and promote youth employment.
