KATHMANDU: With the monsoon getting active, the weather has been generally cloudy across the country today.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the weather is generally to fully cloudy in Gandaki Pradesh, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Pradesh and partly to generally cloudy in other provinces.
The weather will remain generally to fully cloudy with chances of light to moderate rains in some places of the country today afternoon. Heavy rains are likely in one or two places of Bagmati Pradesh, said the Division.
Meanwhile, the Division has urged people especially those living on the river banks and low-lying regions to take precautions warning of floods and inundation.
Similarly, the weather will remain generally cloudy with chances of light to moderate rains in some places of the country tonight
This weather pattern will continue until Monday.
