NEPSE decreases by 16.96 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 16.96 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2843 points.

A total of 13.21 million shares of 219 traded 78,983 times resulting in a turnover of 7.033 billion.
hares of Banking Group fell by 7.5 points, Development Bank by 73 points, Trade by 26 points, Finance Group by 29 points and Microfinance Group by 49 points.

Similarly, shares of the life insurance group declined by 144 points, non-life insurance group by 177 points, manufacturing by 41.5 points, others by 30 points, and investment group by 109 points.

Nepal Reinsurance company had the highest turnover of Rs 378.3 million today.

The shares of Nyadi Group Power Limited and Nepal Insurance Company fell more than five percent today.

Shares of Upper Tamakoshi Company have increased about 10 percent despite the overall market decline.
