KATHMANDU: The government has transferred the spokesperson of Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) Dr. Jageshwor Gautam to the Unified COVID-19 Hospital (Bir Hospital) on Monday.

According to the Ministry sources, a ministerial decision on Monday decided to appoint Dr. Samir Kumar Adhikari as spokesperson of the Ministry and shift Dr. Gautam to Unified COVID-19 Hospital as its head.

Dr. Gautam was the head of Thapathali Maternity Hospital prior to be appointed as the Spokesperson of the MoHP.
