WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 33,895,715 in the United States of America after 12,988 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 5,790,257 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 27,501,378 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 604,080 with 220 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,477,711 and infected 167,503,623 globally until the filing of this news.
