Udayapur Cement to issue IPO worth Rs 3.38 bln

KATHMANDU: Udayapur Cement Industry Ltd is making preparations to issue initial public offerings (IPO) for the people in general.

The company has called an annual general meeting (AGM) to this effect.

According to the decision taken by the executive committee of the company, the 33rd AGM will take place at the meeting hall of the company in Udayapur on June 13. The meeting will take place virtually at 11 am, according to the company.

The AGM will pass the proposal of issuing IPO worth Rs 3,385,920,200.

Similarly, the AGM is also likely to endorse the proposal of increasing the issued capital of the company from existing Rs 4 billion to 10 Rs billion, said the company.
