COVID-19: India records new 345,147 infections, 2,621 deaths



NEW DELHI: India recorded 345,147 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 16,602,456.

Currently, 2,550,788 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 13,862,119 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 189,500-mark.

With 2,621 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 189,549, according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.
