Australian Ambassador Volk pays courtesy call on PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Australian Ambassador to Nepal Felicity Volk on Wednesday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Oli at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar.

During the meeting, the duo discussed the “close relationship” between the Nepal and Australia.

Ambassador Volk had presented her credentials on 15 February to President Bidya Devi Bhandari.

She was appointed as the new Australian Ambassador to Nepal.

Diplomatic relations between Nepal and Australia was established on February 15, 1960.
