KATHMANDU: Chairmen of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Prachanda-Nepal faction Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” and Madhav Nepal held talks with Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba on the current political developments.

During the 20-minute-long meeting held at Deuba’s residence in Budanilakantha on Wednesday afternoon, the trio discussed the current political developments and ways forward.

Sources said the discussions particularly focused on moving forward in the changed political context.

NC President Deuba told Prachanda and Nepal that he would first discuss the political developments with his party leaders before giving any word to them on the government formation.

Prachanda and Nepal had reached Deuba’s residence soon after returning to Kathmandu from Chitwan.
