Prachanda-Nepal faction taking out victory rallies today



KATHMANDU: The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is taking out victory rallies throughout the country on Wednesday after Supreme Court reinstated the House of Representatives.

According to leader Bishnu Rijal, a victory rally will be taken out from Shanti Batika in Kathmandu at 12 noon.

He added that rallies will be taken out in other districts from 8 am.

“After the historic decision of the Supreme Court in favor of the defense of the constitution and democracy, let’s participate in the program organized at Shanti Batika in Kathmandu at 12 noon today!” Rijal said in a Facebook post.

Chairman duo Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda and Madhav Nepal who had reached Chitwan for a protest assembly will arrive in Kathmandu today.

The faction had taken to the streets demanding to reinstate the lower house.
