BUTWAL: Rupandehi Police arrested two persons including a policeman on allegations of gang rape and making nude photos public.
According to the police, one of the two sisters living in Kanchan-4 Bhaisahi, had been the victim of gang rape on November 7 last year.
One of the rapists had taken nude photos of another girl, while her sister was being raped. The rapists later used the photos for blackmailing the girls.
SP Prabin Pokhrel, the Chief of Rupandehi Police informed that an FIR has been lodged against the four involved in the incident and two including a policeman have been arrested.
“In the incident that took place at around 8.30 am on November 7, a traffic police is also found to have been involved, and is taken into control,” SP Pokhrel told.
The police have initiated an investigation on Bishal Sharma, a policeman and Guru Charan Chaudhary after arresting them.
