Karnali Province gets 11,000 jabs of COVID-19 vaccines



SURKHET: As many as 11,780 jabs of COVID-19 vaccines are set to arrive in Karnali Province.

In the first phase, doctors, health workers and ambulance drivers who are at the forefront of controlling the coronavirus will be vaccinated, said Dr. Rabin Khadka, Director, Directorate of Health Services, Karnali.

“In the second phase, after doctors and health workers, we will ask for vaccinations for security personnel and media personnel,” he said.

According to him, the Ministry of Health and Numbers has appointed Dr. Anuj Bhattachan, Director of the National Tuberculosis Center in the state, as the coordinator of the vaccination campaign.

He will bring the vaccine and coordinate with the center about the vaccination campaign in collaboration with the state health service directorate.
