Two Biplav leaders arrested in Baglung



BAGLUNG: Two leaders of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav outfit have been arrested.

A team from District Police Office, Baglung arrested them on Saturday from Gairagaun of Baglung Municipality-7.

District Police Office Information Officer Inspector Vijay Bhandari said that they were arrested on the basis of a special tip-off.

The arrested are Babulal Shakya, 53, of Baglung Municipality-3 and Kaman Singh Chhetri of Rukum West. Shakya is the former Secretary of Myagdi district while Chhetri is the former In-charge of Baglung.

According to police, two mobile phones and three SIM cards were recovered from Shakya and four mobile phones and seven SIM cards from Chhetri.
