Sharma elected chair of Nepal Microfinance Banker’s Association



KATHMANDU: Prakash Raj Sharma has been elected as the chairman of the Nepal Microfinance Banker’s Association.

The 15th Annual General Meeting held on Friday unanimously elected Sharma as the chairman of the Association, who is also the chief executive officer (CEO) of Laxmi Microfinance.

An 11-member executive committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Sharma in which Min Bahadur Bohara, CEO of Dhaulagrii Microfinance is vice chairperson, Ram Bahadur Yadav General Secretary and Prem Bahadur Pathak is the Treasurer.

The tenure of the newly elected executive last for two years.
