KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said the neighboring country China has made a tremendous development in the economy which is a matter of wonder.
President Bhandari said it during a program organized to release the Nepali version of a book relating to China’s Governance-II in her office, Shitalniwas, on Thursday. China has made unprecedented success in science and technology, development and invention, she added.
According to her, the revolution led by the Chinese Communist Party under President Xi Jinping made huge reforms, ensuring successful development including recent space travel. The book has contained several issues including the efforts China made to tackle climate change, human-centered green revolution, socialism with Chinese characteristics, among others.
The President thanked China for its assistance to Nepal against COVID-19. She reiterated that Nepal is always firm on One-China policy. The book is translated by China Study Centre. RSS
