Nepal sees 1,324 new COVID-19 cases, 13 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 404 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,324 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 941 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 298 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 245 persons in Kathmandu, 107 in Lalitpur, and 52 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 404 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 13 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,324 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
