NC Prez Deuba and senior leader Poudel hold decisive talks to resolve membership dispute



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba is holding talks with senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel to resolve the issue of active membership, which has always been a contentious issue within the party, in Budhanilkatha Monday evening.

Both Poudel and Deuba reached Budhanilkantha for talks. After decisive talks between the two leaders, the report of NC’s active membership investigation committee on membership dispute is likely to be finalized today.

Coordinator of the investigation committee Krishna Sitaula will brief Deuba and Poudel on the progress made so far.
