BJP leader Dr. Chauthaiwale meets Maoist Center Chair Prachanda



KATHMANDU: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Foreign Affairs Department Chief Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale has met Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ at the latter’s residence at Khumaltar, in Kathmandu, Monday.

Dr. Chauthaiwale tweeted that there was an open discussion on various issues, including continuity of dialogue between the two countries, during his meeting with Prachanda. Prachanda’s daughter Ganga Dahal was also present at the meeting.

Earlier in the day, the BJP leader met leader Mahantha Thakur, chairman of the proposed Democratic Socialist Party, and UML Chairman KP Oli.

Likewise, he met Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and NC leader Prakash Sharan Mahat Sunday.

Dr. Chauthaiwale, who is on an informal visit to Kathmandu, is meeting the top leaders here during his four-day stay.
