KATHMANDU: Leaders of Madhav Kumar Nepal-led CPN Unified Socialist Party have reached Chandragiri Resort in Kathmandu Monday.
The leaders of the proposed party are planning to make an overnight stay and hold discussions at the resort. Sources claimed that about 50 rooms were booked for members of the gathering.
“There could be more participants at the gathering,” one of the leaders said. “There will be discussions between lawmakers and members of the Central Committee here.”
Meanwhile, the CPN-UML summoned a Standing Committee meeting for Tuesday that will also have the participation of leaders close to leader Nepal but haven’t joined the proposed CPN Unified Socialist Party.
Also, the Election Commission has summoned central members of leader Nepal-led party for verification on Wednesday. The leaders close to leader Nepal are likely to stay at the resort until Wednesday.
