Madhav Nepal’s chapter in party is closed: UML Chairman Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli has said that Madhav Kumar Nepal’s chapter in the party has been closed now.

Chairman Oli has also urged his party-men not to be disappointed or disheartened with his departure from the party.

“It’s useless to be disappointed or disheartened if someone deviates from the party principles, or raises voices against the party colluding with the opposition, he will not mourn or mourn,” Oli said in a television interview.

He also urged party cadres and supporters to move forward abandoning all displeasure or regrets.

“We tried our utmost to stop them,” Chairman Oli said.

Asked whether there is a possibility of Madhav Nepal coming back to the party, Chairman Oli said, “he had taken his own path. Did I ask him to leave the party?”

He also ruled out the possibility of party unity, particularly with Madhav Kumar Nepal despite efforts made by some leaders of the party.
