KATHMANDU: An additional 800,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine has arrived in Nepal from China Friday.
A wide body aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) brought the vaccine to Tribhuvan Airport at 4 pm on Friday, said NAC Managing Director Dim Prakash Poudel.
One million doses of vaccine had arrived Thursday as well.
An NAC aircraft is scheduled to fly to Beijing Saturday as well to bring an additional 800,000 doses of vaccine. The shipment is expected to arrive Sunday afternoon.
