KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu District Administration has given permission to operate long-distance vehicles.

The administration has issued a notice on Friday urging the concerned to make arrangements for the operation of long and medium-distance vehicles.

“We have received a circular from the Home Ministry stating the decision of the cabinet,” said Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli.

“In order to facilitate the movement of the examinees and the general public, the concerned are requested to make arrangements for the operation of medium and long-distance public transport in full compliance with the health standards prescribed by the Government of Nepal,” he said.
