37 districts have more than 500 active COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Thirty-seven districts in the country have more than 500 active COVID-19 cases, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Ministry spokesperson Krishna Prasad Poudel said that the number of infected cases is active in 37 districts despite the declining infection rate in the last few days.

According to the ministry, the infection rate is currently 19.1 percent.

He also informed that there are more than 500 COVID-19 active cases in districts such as Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Baglung, Rupandehi, Bhaktapur, Morang, Kailali, Sunsari, Chitwan and Kavrepalanchok, among others.
