Industrialist Rakesh Kumar Agrawal joins CPN-UML



KATHMANDU: Industrialist Rajesh Kumar Agrawal has joined the CPN-UML at an event held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar Tuesday.

Prime Minister and UML Chairman Prime Minister KP Oli, welcoming Agrawal, expressed confidence that the newcomer would play good role in the party.

The 49-year-old industrialist of Bhairahawa is a central executive member of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He was not affiliated to any political party before this.

Agrawal is the managing director of Arghakhanchi Cement and Shree Steels Pvt Ltd.

Last Friday, over 235 industrialists have joined the CPN-UML at a program organized at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
