Six Indian nationals of a family jailed on forgery



KATHMANDU: Six Indian nationals of a family have been sentenced to jail on the charge of acquiring Nepali citizenship certificates by submitting forge documents.

Those jailed include 70-year old Gangadhar Yadav of Madhubani Gram Parsa, Daxin Thana of Bihar, India and his family members.

A single bench of Saptari district court judge Rita Bakhrel handed down the order to send Yadav to three years in Jail and Rs 20,000 penalty while other family members sentenced to one year in jail and a fine of Rs 10,000.
