Attorney General Kharel clarifies he has not resigned



KATHMANDU: Attorney General Agni Kharel has clarified that he has not resigned.

Kharel refuted media reports claiming that he has tendered resignation terming it as a ploy against him.

“I have not resigned. I won’t even resign. It is a rumor spread against me,” Kharel said.

Meanwhile, Press Adviser to Prime Minister KP Oli, Surya Thapa, also said that the false rumors spread on social media about resignation by Attorney General Kharel since this morning were regrettable.
