No alternative to reinstatement of Parliament: Dr. Koirala

MAHENDRANAGAR: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said that Prime Minister KP Oli didn’t dissolve the Parliament to hold elections in April.

Dr. Koirala said the decision to dissolve Parliament was apolitical and unconstitutional and there was no alternative to reinstatement.

Stating that there is no dispute within the party over the ‘unconstitutional’ move of the Prime Minister, Dr. Koirala said that the party should not leave the road until the unconstitutional step is rectified.

Addressing a gathering of the party cadres organized by the party in Mahendranagar, Dr. Koirala also expressed his commitment not to allow any honest and loyal cadre within the party to be treated unfairly.
