Biplav outfit torches Bolero van in Makwanpur



KATHMANDU: The cadres of Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ have torched a Bolero Pick-up van near Humane bhanjyang on the border of Kathmandu and Makwanpur on Saturday morning.

According to SP Somendra Singh Rathore, an unidentified group set a fire to pickup van, Ba 13 Cha 7969, returning to Kathmandu after unloading goods in Makwanpur.

He added that the police are investigating the case and has launched a manhunt to nab those involved in the arson attack.

NCP Biplav outfit has declared Nepal Bandh on Saturday to protest the arrest of party Secretariat Member Dharmendra Bastola alias Kanchan. The sources claim that Kanchan holds the third position in Biplav outfit’s portfolio.
