KATHMANDU: Civil Society activists are staging a demonstration against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) at Maitighar Mandala in the capital on Saturday.
A peaceful demonstration led by senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC will take place at 12 pm.
The demonstration is being organized to safeguard the Constitution and reinstate the HoR, activists close to Dr KC said.
The Prachanda-Nepal faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party, main opposition parties including Nepali Congress and civil society activists have been in agitation after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli dissolved the HoR on last December 20.
