KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the COVID-1 9 vaccine will be administered from January 27.

Addressing the 20th Establishment Day of the Armed Police Force on Friday, Prime Minister Oli said the government has begun the campaign to beat the COVID-19 pandemic and its control has reached the final stage.

He informed that the COVID-19 vaccine will be administered to those working in the frontline against the coronavirus in the first phase and urged the people to take precautions until the adequate vaccine arrives.

Appreciating the role played by the AFP in maintaining peace, security and disaster management, the Prime Minister urged the the security agency to upgrade itself according to the need of the time.
