Climate change: US Ambassador Berry tours Shivapuri National Park (with video)



KATHMANDU: US Ambassador to Nepal Randy Berry visited the Shivapuri National Park to understand the effects of climate change on wildlife and water sources.

Posting a video of his visit, he has said how COP26 gave countries the opportunity to have in-depth conversations on the crisis of climate change on a global scale.

“Climate change affects everyone on a local scale as well,” he has said.

In the video, he has also held a conversation with experts from WWF Nepal.

The Embassy said that the U.S. government is proud to support projects to combat the effects of climate change and preserve the rich biodiversity of Nepal.
