ICC Women’s T20 cricket: Nepal sets 105-run target for Hong Kong

KATHMANDU: Nepal has set a target of 105 runs for Hong Kong in a cricket tournament under the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Asia qualifiers.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Nepal notched up 104 runs losing three wickets in the allotted 20 overs in the match underway at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in the UAE.

Sita Rana Magar made highest 40 runs including four fours off 58 balls followed by Indu Barma with 31 runs while Kabita Kunwar was sent to the pavilion without any runs.

In reply, Hong Kong’s Betty Chan and Kary Chan took two wickets of Nepal.

There are six teams participating in the selection. The winning team of the selection will secure a berth in the World Cup qualifiers.
