UML holding Standing Committee meeting today



KATHMANDU:  CPN-UML is holding a Standing Committee meeting today.

The SC meeting will be held at Tulsilal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitpur at 3 pm, informed UML Central Office Chief Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang.

The meeting will dwell on the upcoming 10th General Convention of the party. According to Tamang, the meeting will dwell on five percent nomination of representatives.

A total of 1,999 representatives including ex-officio and representatives will be elected.  The General Convention Main Organizing Committee has been formed under the coordination of Ram Bahadur Thapa.

The 10th General Convention of the UML has been slated for November 26 to 28 to elect a new leadership.
