Man held on rape charge



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a man on the charge of raping a teenage girl in the federal capital.

Acting on a complaint lodged by the victim, a police squad arrested 36-year-old Dinesh Bishwokarma of Bidur municipality-1, Nuwakot, currently staying at Machhapokhari in Balaju.

A police squad deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Balaju rounded up Bishwokarma on Thursday night.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the rape-accused under control.
