16 contestants to participate in Miss Universe 2021



KATHMANDU: Sixteen contestants are participating in ‘Miss Universe Nepal, 2021’.

Organizer Umang Creation made public the contestants by organizing a press presentation program at Yak and Yeti Hotel at Durbar Marg on Thursday night.

Walking on the ramp on the red carpet, the contestants introduced themselves with their aim in life during the program participated by audiences and media persons.

Held at Lal Durbar Convention Center of Yak and Yeti, the contestants presented a 2 to 3-minute video on suicide, sex education, menstruation, women empowerment, mental health, rape and child education.

Now, 10 contestants out of 16 will be selected based 50 percent marks from the video presented by the contestant and the remaining 50 percent from the voting through an IME app.

The grand finale of the contest will be held on October 30. The winner will participate in the Miss Universe to be held in Israel on December 12, representing Nepal.
